Thai Pie!

Thai Pie Pizza

Meal: Evening
Inspiration: Old Chicago's Thai Pie Pizza

In an effort to use up some of the things I already had in the fridge, I made pizza tonight! I took a recently thawed pre-made pizza crust, brushed it with olive oil, and spread it with pizza sauce. I picked the chicken from some Famous Dave's wings I had and put it on the pizza next. I sprinkled the pizza with diced Anaheim chili peppers from the freezer and fresh diced red onions. I drizzled it with Thai Red Chili Sauce and Thai garlic peanut sauce. I sprinkled the pizza with mozzarella cheese, tore up some provolone and topped it, and shredded some cheddar cheese on top of that. It all went into a 450º preheated oven (that was dropped to 425º per the directions that accompanied the pre-made crust) and baked for 12 minutes. I switched the oven to broil for about a minute and a half just to brown the cheese before removing it from the oven. It didn't turn out exactly like Old Chicago's Thai Pie but tasted great!
